I'm one that said he can sometime lack enthusiasm, but this game seemed like one of his good ones.
I like 'ol Chris. I don't get the hate. It's like the small town mentality some have where if you're not from Louisiana then you're not welcome.

I think he does a great job, but I personally do not like his voice.

Yeah, i never understood the people who say he isn't passionate enough
He definitely brings more energy in some games than he does others.
On another note I could do without the “Touchdown Fighting Tigers!” Just Touchdown Tigers is fine, but that’s being nit picky

Wait until the next time he looks for a flag after a big play.
“HE SUCKS! SHOWS NO EMOTION! Waaah!”

I was critical of him earlier this year. But I had him synced up with the TV yesterday and he brought the thunder. Great job yesterday, Chris Blair!

That is so nit-picky you shouldn’t even say it.
And “touchdown fighting tigers” is great and he should keep doing it forever.

Not even the right quote.
“Jack Hunt! Caught it and scored! Last play of the game, I don’t believe it.”
Go back and study.

Best decision I made yesterday was to sync up the radio call with the TV and mute Gary Danielson.
Gary was horrible yesterday.
Jenkins jumped between 2 defenders and intercepted the pass for a TD.
Didn’t know that you don’t have to run the play clock inside 40 seconds(with the running game clock)
Pronounced Boutte’s 4 different ways.
We always shite on Gary but he sounded like Joe Biden yesterday

Poor ole Doug on the other hand. Is this his last year?

Blair heard the fans on TD complain about his "lack of" passion and decided he would be more into the game than he has been. He did a great job yesterday for sure.

This board would complain if the cloned hybrid of Keith Jackson, Pat Summerall and Vin Scully did every LSU game. Blair does a good job.

Exactly. He does a good job. Not a great one

Last night I watched Inside LSU Sports (LSU Ole Miss football highlights) and they use Chris Blair commentary synced with what is going on on the field. This is the first time I have ever heard Chris' commentary.
The only comment I have is that Blair says "Touchdown Fighting Tigers" every single time and it just sounds weird to me (as opposed to "Touchdown Tigers" or "Touchdown LSU" or "Touchdown (insert player name here)."
I do agree that he is doing a good job but I have too many years of listening to Jim Hawthorne and his predecessors to get used to that one phrase that I think he overuses.
Just my .02
