This may be an option for those that missed out on the Chinook boat. There is a third Husky boat that leaves from the Beach CAfe in Kirkland, WA. It's across the bay from the stadium. Here's the link:

wow, the way Chinooks handled this was a clusterfrick. We were thinking about switching from Ivars to Chinooks, but decided not to because our group swelled to 26 people, and getting 26 people from campus to Chinooks looked like it would be difficult at that time of day.

Ivars is a little closer to campus (within walking distance, certainly).

That sucks for everyone that didn't get on. I'd definitely be pissed at Chinooks. They clearly told multiple people that it was going to be Aug 1st before they started taking reservations.

I posted in the other boat thread also. What is everyone's fascination about being on a boat for 3-6 hours before the game? I can ride on a boat around here for a lot less drinking and eating the whole time. I know that the scenery is a lot better, but I am looking forward to bar hopping around the bars close to campus and showing them how Tigers party.

Washington is one of the only college venues in America where you can pull up to the stadium on a boat. They are well known for their "sailgating," certainly one of the most unique experiences in college football.

Not being on a boat in Washington would be like a visiting team's fan base coming to Baton Rouge and eating McDonalds for lunch on GameDay.

WHAT A HUGE CROCK OF SHITE!!!!!!!!!!

So anyone book the Beach Cafe boat yet? I have nine people in my group and was thinking if we could round up about 100 or so people we could do our own private boat. I have the name of a company that would do it. Private Charter

Anyone interested? They are unfortunately closed til Monday but I will be more than happy to call and post the results if I can get enough people.

I think No Host is probably the company that runs the bar on board.

It does sound strange, but that's my best guess is that a company named No Host actually runs the onboard bar

Whizzinator- email me your phone number and I will call you with some news. I talked to a boat owner that would take a private small group on his sailboat. Can bring our own booze and food.

I'm interested in any option I can get at this point. We have 5 of us. I woke up this morning hoping to get on the Chinook's boat like everyone else to then realize they screwed us all. Got on waiting list but not looking likely. Not even sure what # we are. If a private cruise at a reasonable price comes available with a great group of Tiger fans we're on board!
