really?
because that is exactly what happened here in Austin. And the new ESPN FM station is killing The Zone in ratings. If it weren't for Longhorn ball and Rome, the station would get no ratings at all.

Caller driven talk radio is by and large terrible no matter what market you listen to. My guess based ona limited amount of listening to BR shows over the net is that the collective IQ of frequent callers is below the national average.
Listening to uneducated callers who like to hear themselves on the radio rehash dumb questions and recycled comments they heard on ESPN and proposing outlandish trade proposals is NOT GOOD RADIO.
Shows that depend on callers inherently suck.

I've never heard them be condescending to anyone that didn't deserve it. If you are going to call in and say something stupid I don't want hosts that are going to act like it was anything but that.
