Chambliss is a good QB but even if he gets a waiver I would take Sorsby or Leavitt

Those guys are just better players than Chambliss, at least in my opinion. I get Lane wanting Chambliss because he already knows his system but I’d still take either one of those guys over Chambliss. I really want us to take a run at Deuce Knight.

I would take Chambliss over everyone in the portal. He is the ideal college QB. He has a good arm, good legs, very accurate, anticipates guys getting open and doesn't stare down receivers. Give him and Lane a good OL and let them go to town.

Chambliss is the perfect bridge during a trial and error year. There will be some growing pains next year and having that stability would be a great luxury. I say you pay him but don’t overpay him.
