With the long rehab ahead of him, I wonder if he would return to LSU and finish his degree this year.

I feel sick that this happened. The guy turned down decent money out of high school to come play for us. I'm guessing he hasn't signed with New York yet, I hope he has some kind of an insurance policy in place.

and you dont know that we boast one of the top trauma units in the whole country?

This the truth. In fact, it's usually indicative that cities with higher crime rates actually will have better Trauma and ER centers. They usually are the latest equipment along with better funding from both public and private sources. Generally they attract some of the better surgeons in the nation because they come with a lot of opportunities.

Stopped him on the street in Omaha .. took a pic of my kids with him ... I'm the mom so I guess it was ok. Very gracious and didn't seem to mind.

I just got a report from on the scene that he would have been removed faster..but everytime a rescuer said Chad Jones....someone would reply with Chad Who?

Led to quite the confusion.

WDSU New Orleans confirms that the injuries suffered by Giants rookie Chad Jones in a car accident Friday are career threatening.

Jones' leg is described as "severely damaged," and amputation still hasn't been ruled out depending on the healing process after Friday's surgery. Jones' life is not in danger, but his football future is. "We are praying for Chad and his family," LSU coach Les Miles tweeted. "Keep him in your prayers."
