it's always funny to me....we bash miles for not playing underclassmen when there are more talented people below the upperclassmen, then when one leaves and we FINALLY get to see what some of these guys are made of.....

we bash that. What gives? It doesn't matter if it's a "big" loss or what.....jeezus even Florida's message boards don't act like this.

Are you nuts? Chad Jones may be the best pure athlete that has ever played football at LSU. I suggest you go ask John Parker Wilson.

I suspected all year that this was CJ's last at LSU. He will have to make a decision on FB or BB. He will be a # pick in football. He was, by far, our MVP on defense this year.

Is there a rule saying he can't play baseball if he declares for the draft. The draft isn't until the end of April. A lot of guys don't sign contracts until after June(CWS) anyways.
)Once he signes with an agent, no more college and he will sign with one soon so they can help with draft prep expenses.

This absolutel sucks for LSU. I think he is one of the best safties in college. along with pitcher. him coming back for one more year puts more experience on the field. Which is always a god thing. not to take away from loson which is great. But he would have been a key leader on defense

He will not be the last. Nobody wants to go 6-6 next year. Noone but Mile.

I will miss getting to say: "Who?? CHAD JONES!!"
After he lays a massive hit.

And

Will always remember the K and then jumping in the air and doing the "you can't see me"

Good Luck Chad

The level of stupidity here is staggering. CJ was a great athlete and rep. for LSU. He played lights out against Penn State IMO. Huge games including a play that enabled our crystal ball in 2007. Anyone who is glad he's gone...doesn't have LSU's best interest at heart. If he does go, I wish him the best and a long healthy career/life after LSU.

I'm not all that upset with this decision. Would like to have seen him play some baseball, though.
