Yeah if he has shed 10+ lbs. like people are speculating and he is training his arse off right now on the track I could DEFINITELY see it.

I don't get why people don't think Chad Jones can run fast? I've seen closing speed on him and all his life he ran bases.........he is trained to run short distances.

push on the weight and way under

He never looked that fast to me. Smooth. Incredibly smooth, but not all that fast. I suspect he may do his times much faster than I would predict from watching him play. That is, I think he usually is very careful, in games. I dont think he is trying to run fast, I think he is looking to make the play, without getting killed. He looked cautious to me. I am not saying pussy, I am saying, those KR in the NFL get injured. He is wise. Those guys ARE out to get him.

He seems like a guy who can focus. Therefore I think he will be totally prepared for this exercise, and excel in a way that moves him up to the first round. He seems like a guy who can have this conversation and plan ahead:

Hmmm. What do I have to do to excel at this 40 time in Indy? Well, I have run 40's before. I know how to prepare.

Then he probably got a track coach.
There is so much money riding on this draft position and I think he is cool with getting some of it.

230 and 4.65. Not sure where they are running, if its the same facility as last year the times were slow.

They were at the same place, but change the running track surface I believe.

Lucas Oil Stadium? Chad looked awesome. If he got rid of all that head weight....he would cut his time down.
