Those games may have been played differently if there was a statistical minimum standard they had to achieve, in addition to winning the game. Margin of victory apparently has no bearing for bama, just need to win. Oh and we saw how well prepared their QB2 was.
There is no actual standard that could be used to leave them out. They are being punished for their QB getting hurt. It’s nonsense to suggest they need to over perform because their QB1 was out.
