CFB Pick'em News: GaBassFisher92 rises to the top, TedStickles droops to 12th place

GaBassFisher92 becomes the latest player to reach first place, going 9-4 in Week 9 for an overall record of 87-30. Did he peak too soon? Can he hang on with just five weeks left to play?

Sitting just one game back in 2nd place are the venerable L.A., James11111 and blackwell09, who held the top spot overall last week.

TigerBandB8 leads a slew of users two games back, including Salviati and mayhaw.

Morecowbell leads a horde of users three games back, including two-time champion TedStickles.

Frank Black leads a throng of users four games back and TigerRuss leads a gaggle of users five games back.

Look out, but crowd-favorite GoldenBoy just sits 8 games back of first place after going a sizzling 11-2 in Week 9. The controversial Lester Earl did not play.

Special shoutout to the following users for having the best record in Week 9...all went 12-1: j4lsu, josh336, tigeraddict, monroetiger1, AuburnTigers and oatmeal.

Finally, TideSaint sits just 7 games behind GaBassFisher92 despite not playing in Week 4. He currently has the best pick %...78.43%.

With just five weeks to play, I think we will start to see some major maneuvering up and down the leaderboard. More risks will be taken in an effort to catch the leader...remember, you can't catch the leader if you pick the same as them.
