Honestly, this. In 2011, he would completely shut down his damn half of the field.

I love that Dre Bly is the first comment asking about Woodson. Bly was a badass at UNC, had like 10 Ints one year.

kind of hard to argue that he wasn't the GOAT but most of these whippersnappers on here don't think anyone that played more than about 25 years ago could hang today

maybe not the best CB ever, but this dude was the best CB in college in '98, and led a pro style SEC offense in receiving the same year.

not a play here or there, the dude caught 50 balls. still one of the most phenomenal things I've ever seen.

For saying Mathieu > Peterson and Mo? The other two were better pure cover guys/pro prospects due to their size advantage, but Mathieu was a more impactful football player during his time at LSU.

Does anyone have any Casanova highlights? I’m ashamed to say that I’ve never seen any of his play.

probably all over youtube, SI proclaimed him the best player in the nation on the cover of an issue in 9/71 btw shite he carried it over to the NFL, team MVP as a rookie, all-pro three times(iirc,) only played for about as long as it took to get finished with med school and then seeya he was a special athlete

After catching 7 passes for 74 yards as a true freshman, Webster converted to Cornerback for the 2002 season. He would end his college career with 16 interceptions (2nd in school history), be named as a 1st Team All-American twice, and was a 1st Team All-SEC selection 3 times. As a Junior in 2003, he finished 2nd in the SEC with 25 pass breakups and had 17 as a Sophomore in 2002.

Corey Webster...not bad for a WR.

And I'm not arguing that he should be on that list, just that he has been forgotten and shouldn't be.

not as a cover guy, but PP7 and Mo could not change the game on defense like TM

sorry, but it's just the truth.

TM is by far my favorite game changer player of all time. When he was on the field, things were electric!

Sanders for sure...

Corey Webster was better than Claiborne.
