He’s not the only one saying this about Clemson. We’re getting some preseason hype but I’ve seen us ranked anywhere from like 5-15 by most CFB analysts. Pretty much everyone has Clemson Top 5

A lot has to do with ACC schedule. Clemson is no better than us and damn sure aren't getting 6 1st round draft picks. Bookmark

I don’t see how that’s unreasonable at all. They are completely stacked and have a great coach.

I like that these are at least On Campus games & not “Neutral Sites” at the Domes. Getting to play Clemson @DV next season will be a great OOC Home game for a change.

Dabo is tied for the most national championships among active college football coaches.
Clemson has 6 projected first round picks and looks solid all around.

@ Clemson may be our toughest game of the year. I don't know if I agree that they're the #1 team in the country, but the season is definitely not over if we lose that one. If we find a way to win, however, this could be a very special season.
ETA: I think the main thing isn't even being addressed with this ranking. LSU plays 4 of these top 20 teams on the road (1, 4, 10 & 16), and we host 3 more of them (9, 14 & 18). Assuming Pate knows what he's talking about even a little bit, this is about as difficult of a schedule from a preseason standpoint that I can remember.

Any post that doesn't say LSU by 3 TDs is immediately discounted by that poster. He conveniently forgets we've lost 5 openers in a row and will be an underdog at Clemson. Remember all the posters betting the farm the last 3 openers who lost their arse?

I mean, most people that I've seen on here are skeptical about our chances of winning the first game considering the team we're playing and BK's first game performances while at LSU.
Dabo has two NCs, so he is one of the greats of coaching. But LSU is paying Kelly 10 million a season to compete with and beat the best.
