For a band from California, CCR sang many songs about Louisiana. Their 2nd Album was called Bayou Country (Born on the Bayou) and their biggest hit was Proud Mary (about a riverboat going to New Orleans). Their last album was called Mardi Gras. A lot of Louisiana influences in their music.
