Man Cecil Collins was very good, but he was a headcase, I don't believe that was a coach in the country who could have helped him.

Seems like prison saved him.

I don't think he needed Saban if he could have stayed on field most definitely he would have at least placed in the voting

It's been 24 years since the diesel played at LSU and I've yet to seen a RB just wear defense like he did

Really? You’ve yet to seen it?

Can someone explain why he is though of so highly?

Yes I saw him play.

He played in 4 games and scored 4 total touchdowns. In those 4 games vs Ms st. auburn and two scrubs he was explosive but putting him in the top ten of RBs in LSU history is rediculous. Based on 4 games we are supposed to believe he was a good therapist away from being a hall of famer?

bullshite

You looking at stats. We watched in person. He was an unbelievable talent.

I am not a stat guy, Collins played against 3 teams
2 were good and one was elite

Miss State finished #1 in total defense

Auburn finished over 50th

Akron finished 87th

596 yards total career and a pervert, rapist, peeping tom and perhaps the lowest of lowest of individuals on earth and you want to put him up at the greatest at LSU ever

???? are you a weird sexual deviant

I truly believe Saban would have kept him in check. What a tremendous talent he was! We’ve had some awesome RBs at LSU, but the Diesel was better than all of the in my opinion. Fournette was the closes to him in size and speed.

Sucks he was a knucklehead in his younger days.

Dude, you are a fricking moron. He couldn't finish the season without getting caught being uninvited yet jerking off on a sleeping unsuspecting coed. In his younger year? He was worse in Miami.

Ummm he actually did have him at Miami and he was still a stud who didn’t have any training prior to getting on the field and still beat out professional players but couldn’t beat his “panty sniffing problems” or his “peeping tom” priorities. The dude was on the road to being a serial rapist had he not gotten help. It was likely a brave arse woman who finally got him to change his ways too. Other than that, he really was a great dude lol.
