Flukey pitched a great game - good enough to win but for Anderson and the LSU infield, IMHO. Several good defensive plays dismantled what could have been 2 or 3 runs. Plus, Anderson closed out innings after walking more than he ever has.

You don't know shite about Coastal. What is their SOS?

He clearly explained he knew a lot about them. Their SOS is so low because they played in a weaker conference. They are very good and will be better tonight, if you can’t acknowledge that, there’s no reason for a debate. Tigers can absolutely win but we have to get some offensive momentum going and I hope we will. Go Tigers!

Interesting take. Todd Walker doesn't seem to agree.

Some of these guys know more about baseball than Todd Walker and Ben McDonald combined.

Keeping it real here.
LSU is not a great offensive team.
LSU is playing for a championship today due to coach Johnson’s management, a great pitching staff and a defense that has been phenomenal! based on past performances, I think Eyanson could struggle early with Coastal’s style of play and IMO we’ll need at least 6 runs to win today. I don’t think LSU gets more than 3 vs Morris and will need to run his pitch count up enough to get to their bullpen before the 8th!

What do you call a candle after you light it? Now they are varying degree’s, but it’s still a burnt candle.

We need to start fast, but every time I feel like we start fast and get ahead we find a way to let them back in.

Just watched his highlights vs Oregon State.
Had a stretch of 15 up 15 down.
Only run given up was a solo hr. Had a few other balls reach warning track. Looks like fastball gets up to 95 and breaking ball around 78 but down to 73.
7 k’s and 101 pitches

With this heat will be interesting for sure.

He is a great pitcher and is going to shut down LSU today unless the heat impacts his command. Just hope for Eyanson to keep it close until the later innings and hope our bullpen is better than theirs.
