is one game that much bigger than the other?
According to CBS yes...........they pick they game that will garner the ratings they want. LSU is the bigger draw with Auburn at this point obviously. Tennessee will likely have 3-4 losses.......Auburn is the defending national champ.

Tradition. Doesn't matter to you, but it matters to a lot of this fanbase.
I don't feel it's the end of the world, but disappointed all the same. Night games are just more fun to watch. But if they keep winning, I can deal.

Just stay after the game and help clean. It will be dark and you can start your own tradition.
Just kidding and oh yea, the hell with CBS.

yeah, empty seats and a quiet crowd do wonders for national image. especially for recruits at the game and watching on TV.
The stadium was empty and quiet on Saturday? And people tend to leave earlier for night games than 2:30 games either to beat the traffic home or to the bar.

LSU vs AU
Bama vs Tenn
Is one game that much bigger than the other?
Both games would be a solid pick for cbs.. that being the case, if LSU had someone that could influence the person that makes the decison that we'd rather have the night game than the 230 slot seems fair that they would do so...especailly if the games being played or chosen between are 6 of one half a dozen of the other.
Apparently they dont have anybody that CBS people listen to.
I feel like I'm explaining something to my 3 yr old.
For fricks sake...You either get it or you dont.
And you miss the point. No, LSU has no negotiation ability in this. If they want to lose their way into a night game, that's about their only negotiation tactic. In short, you're wrong. Again. Not shocked, but for someone that posts this often, you would think they would have a clue at this point. Get one dude.
Tenn just lost their starting quarterback, running back, and their best overall player is on the shelf for the year. Auburn is the reigning NC and are in a better current standing than Tenn. LSU and Bama are a wash. The fact you think we can negotiate this is mind numbing. They are our employer. It's' their network. Day games are a better bang for their buck, hence why they only have one primetime game all year.

Back in 2007 CBS had a rule in placed that they wouldn't show the same team three weeks in a row.
Was it in the contract or a rule of thumb?

Solid post after realizing what you said is stupid.
Look, this is a 70+ year tradition that will cease to exist this season. You'd be pissed too if it were your team...but Nebraska has been irrelevant for some time and developed a tradition of day games on ESPN2 and ESPN3, so it makes sense that you wouldn't understand.

No, I get it. I get that some of you fans are a bunch of fricking babies. You bitch about this every time a game is during the day. Newsflash, day games have been happening for quite some time now. Stop acting all surprised every time a game is played during the day.

We bitch all the time about the "traditional" Tenn/Bama screwing the entire conference with the constant opponent.

Nope, it was directed exactly to you for what you were saying. You are being a baby about it. Oh no, LSU has to play during the day. Let's all just go cry about it. fricking babies!

I dont think you can negotiatie it.
Thats why I said its apparent LSU cant negotitate this, but it would be nice if we could.
Nice try though.
At this point its about us and alabama anyway.
WHich team would they rather show.
We will smash au and bama will smash tenn.
