I was glad that we hired him , although I was a little apprehensive at first because of the fit for his personality. Good Coach no doubt I thought but can he do it here. Damn right he can. IMHO he WILL WIN. His staff, his interviews, his process, his organization, his intellect; This what SW saw and he knows what I think I know now. Brian Kelly knows wtf he’s doing. I’m fkg pumped.

Yessir!!
He is bringing exactly what LSU needed. And as far as the team goes, I know its just a spring game, and the team lost a LOT to draft and transfer portal and had to replace the losses, and still has holes to fill.. but they already look a lot better than they did last year. IMO.
GEAUX TIGERS.

It's been several months, and I still don't get this. What is it about his personality that folks didn't think would fit here? Because he isn't Orgeron or Miles? His personality is more similar to Saban than the other two (still different though), and Saban did just find here.

I agree, but get ready for a rough first year or two. When a disciplined coach takes over an undisciplined program it rarely turns on a dime. Saban’s teams sure sucked at first.

As long as he doesn't try to pick up chicks at gas stations, we should be good.

This is so true. I remember thinking the first couple years of Saban at Bama, that maybe lsu made Saban after all. This came after a miserable nfl stint too. So it was logical. Then it all turned around and the rest is history.

The only difference that will make a big difference is the portal and free agency basically. So maybe a one year turnaround is in order! Hopefully the rant can be patient… no way!

How could anybody in their right mind down vote you? Must be O, his boys and their girl friends (3+3=6)We haven't seen this caliber coach since Saban and maybe Arnsparger but definitely Saban. Saban is starting to show some burnout so I'm hoping we will end up with the top dog in the SEC before it's all over.

It's nice to have a competent, mature adult in charge for a change, right?
