LOL, too bad SLU CAN'T take that inning away ! That can be said for almost EVERY game.

Did we look bad or did SLU play us good except for all the errors? I had an exam during the game and couldn't make it.

I wasn't trying to be funny by stemming from the other thread. I seriously had an exam and never really saw a straight answer about our performance.

LSU would have still won but it would have been a lot closer near the end had it not been for so many errors by slu

SLU was actually probably the LEAST impressive team I have seen LSU play this year. Wake Forest was def better looking and a much better fielding team.

I didnt think SLU was ever in the game. The errors were brought on by LSU being aggressive. Those runs would have scored either way. Hell LSU even left the bases loaded one inning. They couldnt hit LSUs pitching either. Hanover at 3B just wouldnt let SLU do anything tonight.

If they make it this year. I was really much more impressed with the team SLU fielded last year. But its still way too early to tell.

Might be a strange point here but I follow pretty much every slu game, and for whatever reason lsu just seemed to hit the ball a lot harder than any other opponent we've seen so far. Lsu is very good

SLU made a number of mistakes in the infield, mainly inaccuracy with their throws after making a good play on the ball.
SLU is a talented team with a senior laden lineup, and should be proud of their performance.
Matty Ott's brother came in a stopped the bleeding after the 4 run inning, and the rest of their pitchers performed admirably.

it would be a much more strange point if LSU DIDN'T hit the ball harder than any opponent SLU has seen this year...
