When I was watching the game, I kept getting feelings of Floyd’s game 1 of the 23 CWS cs Florida. Think Floyd ended that game with 17 or 18 strikeouts, was frickin stressful the entire game. Never had a second to breathe. And just kept shoving.
Obviously tonight was a must-win. But so was that G1 because we knew we weren’t getting Skenes until game 3 if at all.
