Funny how LSU fans buy into the notion that Matt Flynn sucks all of a sudden because he lost the starting job to fresh new legs in Russell Wilson (who will be a great QB in the league) and then tossed to the side by the Oakland f'n Raiders, a pathetic organization, and for what? Fresh new legs, Terrell Pryor will not turn that franchise around. Flynn has proven that he can succeed in a good system, he is a good practice QB and is liked amongst his teammates. At the very least he is a solid second string QB. Tired of hearing him get bashed because he was looked over for much younger and more mobile/athletic QB's, a predictable move, especially by the Raiders in todays NFL.

Flynn got 9M guaranteed, a vested NFL pension, and has the single game passing record for the most storied NFL franchise in history. His body & mind will work past 50.

If I were a team in need of a qb, I'd definitely sign him. It would almost guarantee some rookie will step up to shine.

Basically said they are better than he expected this year. He said it will take 2 years or so to get the team where he wants to be and that he needs to get the guys on his o line healthy and they would be a much a better team. I didn't ask him what he thought about Terrell since I made the Matt Flynn statement in the beginning.
