Buddy of mine just turned down $1500 apiece, but he says at $2,000 a pop he might just watch the game in the French Quarter. Damn, loyalty has its limits I guess?

re:Nah. I just think LSU fans who ticket dump ate shitty bitches. I'm not convinced free market principles apply here because access isn't open.

Sure those principles apply. No different than membership in an elite club that only requires $$$ for entry. Those with $$$ get in. Those without don't. I'm definitely not one of with the $$$, but I like the idea that I can strive to get there.

Me and a couple other guys have 20 tickets which will be available on the 15th. Not sure how many will be together yet. Will sell for 15% less than what is on stubhub for similar seats. Remember that does not include stubhub fees so it is really closer to 20-25% cheaper. Will only take cash and meet in person for transactions. Will start taking offers once tickets come in so I will repost on 15th. Leave your email in thread and I will get back in touch next week.

You are leveraging your access to tickets for profit. It's not illegal, so congratulations. But it's counter to important social contracts that need to be considered from one "fan" to another. It's pathetic quite frankly.

LSU has never travelled particularly well to the SECCG. I agree that 2003 was probably the best turnout, but still there were only about 25,000 LSU fans that year.

I understand that we have to travel further than any other SEC West school with the possible exception of Arkansas, but it's disgusting to see our sections filled with opposing fans.
I keep posting this every year but apparently no one sees the logic.

Just look at the massive Tiger turnout for the UNC game there last year. We owned the place because the tickets were available. We will travel we just don't get a fair shake on ticket distribution.

The SECW is always going to get screwed in the SECCG unless bama or the barn are represented. bammers hold the majority of the season tickets to the SECCG since the game in it's beginning was in Birmingham. Those holders are grandfathered in and have the majority of tickets.

When bama goes, they rule. When someone else goes, bammers sell their ducats to anyone. UT, UGA, UF are all much closer to ATL. We travel damn well for that game but any SECW team other then bama or the barn are going to be outnumbered.

You could have had access to these tickets, IF you paid up front and earned the right through TAF. What you would do, are anyone does, is completely up to that individual. Technically you're right, exchanging face to face in LA higher than face value is against the law. But I'm sure he's throwing in an LSU snuggly collectable with every ticket purchase.

I assume you are directing this at the person that is advertising these tickets for sale... not me.... I am actually in full agreement with you that it is pathetic that "fans" are only picking up tickets to re-sell them for a profit.

Yep. And I reserve the right to be critical of those who abuse their access. That's what this thread is about.

If one had nosebleed seats and could get $1500 each for them, then take the cash from the idiot and enjoy the game with LSU fans outside. Cause there will be more fans outside than inside.

Then go purchase your new home theater system.

Dude -- you are really confusing me. I AGREE with your points.. but twice now you have attributed quotes to me that you are disagreeing with -- that are not mine.

I'll just drop out now --- we seem to agree that LSU fans selling tickets for profit is not a good thing.

Interesting choice of words. I would say that these privileged individuals are sharing their access.
