Agreed. Just have a feeling this is the closest we'll be to a title in a major sport for a long time.

I feel like our pitching is a step behind some of the other big dogs.

We seem to have better bats. But, better bats vs major league pitching loses to average bats vs average pitching quite often

O'Sullivan out coached him in both games. That's it.

I tend to agree BUT.......coaching gets easier when you can say, "hmm, this pitcher not doing OK.....no problem.........NEXT 95mph guy!"

Getting beat by a better team, you can't bitch.

But getting beat the way we did sucks.

We threw in the towel last night and did not play to win, we played not to lose.

Tonight, we had the mo a couple of times, dumbass errors (3 - two fielding, one base running) cost us enough to lose.

Great season, when 6 weeks ago most of us had written us off.

I wish Paul would do a better 'in game' job but he's set to stay as long as he wants and it's hard to bitch about 2nd place out of a zillion other teams.

Florida handled us earlier in the year. Pitching, pitching, pitching is how they live.

Biggest complaint you can have is how easily we should have finished 1st. Reynolds was getting us through the lineup once unscathed on a good day. Pull him before he walks 3 straight batters (say, after the 6th straight ball that landed a state over instead of near the plate) and we win game 1. All of the struggles we have in the lineup and in the win or go home game 2 we sub in Coomes for Slaughter which spots them 2 runs and no pressure.

It sucks cause even while the moves are being made you could see a 2-0 championship turning into an 0-2 shitty showing.
