frick that. Just play the damn game and move on with it. At this point it is what it is. Everyone bashed Lincoln for trying to get out of the LSU game now a good part of the fans are doing the same.

Not out of the playoffs. Kept them from getting a first round bye as they were not in the Top 4. I think at worst had they beaten SC they would have gotten a first round bye.

Let's see how the 3 SEC teams do in this years playoff before saying this with certainly.
Texas only decent win was beating TAMU and they are not even in the top 25. The only other good team they played beat them twice.
Tenn - Lost to Arkansas and Georgia. The only team they beat that was decent was Alabama.
UGA - They have very good wins on their schedule: Clemson, UT twice, Tenn. but losses to Alabama and Ole Miss.

Plenty to gain by winning. Is LSU now running away from tough games? Already have one of easier SEC schedules. USC Trojan coach wanted to cancel opening game against LSU this year and plenty LSU fans were all over him for chickening out. Don’t see Clemson wanting to back out.
