i actually agree with you, jalen hurts is really not that good at all. bama just puts him in easier situations for him to succeed. clemson qb will go as a first round draft pick guaranteed. cant wait to see lsu whip that bama arse next year.

Watson is a baller. We need to find a QB with some special ability in him.

Take notice of the pick-and-roll pass plays, Canada. We can beat Bama this year.

We don't have a Deshaun Watson at QB but we do have a Dave Aranda at DC.

in combination with Aranda's defense, it may very be a shutout tbh.

I want to believe, but I need to actually see it happen.

Narcisse is on campus. He has the potential to be as good as Watson.

I hope Canada made note of those two pick plays Clemson used to score two touchdowns tonight and incorporates them into LSU's new offense.

I don't think Clemson's OL talent is better than ours. And didn't they have a true freshman starting at RT? The difference is they have a phenomenal QB and a very good scheme on O.

If we had a Deshaun Watson as QB with the same Les Miles offense we've struggled with for years, it wouldn't have made any difference. We would have still loss to Alabama.

Jalen hurts looks like a true freshman without Kiffin.

This loss isn't on Hurts and has little to do with Kiffin… this was about Watson having 400+ yards.

LSU will have a Senior at QB and Bama will have a QB controversy.

Hurts seems to have gotten worse as the year has gone on.

The kid was one play away from having an undefeated national championship season. As. A. Freshman.

LSU's offensive line graded out better than Clemson's offensive line.

Our problem wasn't our personnel. Our problem was Les Miles' old antiquated offense. Everybody knew the plays coming before we snapped the ball. That's what our problem was. However, those days are finally over. Les Miles is now gone and a new day has arrived in Baton Rouge.

I wonder if LSU's coaches all got together to watch the game tonight?

By the way, I thought Alabama looked shaky all night a lot like a Les Miles coached football team, as opposed to a Nick Saban coached football team. I had a feeling Clemson was going to come back and win it at the end and they did.

Sure, but have you noticed Bama under Kiffin had slow starts in the first half and broke out in the second half? Kiffin ran a west coast offense and wore defenses out. When they were on the ropes, he would start using the power run game and would dominate. Sark did what every Bama fan wanted Kiffin to do all year and use a power running game instead of "all of those damn screens". Kiffin would have wore this Clemson defense down in the first half, kept the Bama defense fresh all game,Watson would not have 420 yards (albeit, he'd still have plenty), and then run up and down the field with Scarborough who would have not gotten hurt in the first half running at a brick wall for 2-3 yard carries.

I'm excited about our new OC as much as the next guy, but Canada isn't taking snaps. We still have no QB.

No he's not. Although you should research Canada's ability to coach up QBs and run creative schemes that enhance their playstyle instead of hinder it.

I have a feeling we will see a drastic upturn im QB play next year, and even more the following. If we keep him long enough to have 2+ years with Narcisse and Brennan, I see some great QB play in our future.
