Actually this came from someone closer to the situation than you...and for the immaturity level/temper tantrum that's been stated from Canada. I would believe this 100% coming from certain people

So basically every one of O's tweaks/decisions for the offense produced nothing and he's now wanting to be in full control of the offense? I'm sure this will go well...

If half of this is true, then hire Ensminger and let nature take its course. A great OC can’t fix what’s broken.

Fine. I didn't record the game, but I'd like to see some evidence of O sending someone in with a play or communicating with Etling. Otherwise, is a very sketchy rumor.

How many false stories have been latched onto as truth the last week?

There were also reports on here that O asked Canada to scale back some of the shifts and Canada overreacted and went crying to Alleva. Again, you have different people with different agendas inside and around the team pushing narratives.

I'm guilty of accepting some as truth, but I'm just trying to take a rational view of some of these stories and use a little healthy skepticism. The OP still hasn't responded.

Thanks for the inside info.
If true, this is very disgusting and humiliating at the same time. I know Miles would get involved with the offense, made very apparent when SE took over play calling from the same offensive scheme.
Hopefully, O will feel more comfortable with SE calling plays vs Canada and leave the offense alone, for the most part.
Another thing that burns my arse is that O seems to be playing favorites, a trait I hated with Miles.

That's true which is why I wonder if Canada does have some dirt on his hands. You don't take half a buyout because you are a stand up guy.

Here is the rub for the argument over him “taking over the offense.” For O to be able to override the play calls, he would have to actually know the plays and how to call them in. Does anyone here think he would be capable of doing anything beyond a couple of plays himself? I sure don’t.

how many times did you see Ensminger on camera during the season ?

Seems plausible.
Canada may have a short fuse and maturity issues.
If even some of the stories are believable Oregeron is worse.

What’s the story behind Brossette getting the opening handoff against Troy and Orgeron not knowing about it?

Generally it's a bad practice and if allowed wholesale actually creates and exacerbates the problem you want to avoid.

For better or worse Orgeron is the head coach which means he is the "CEO" and the COO. He is hired to make executive decisions regarding the operations of the team. In the military, if the squad leaders were going around the company commanders and that was allowed regularly you would have utter chaos. Not apologizing for O, I am merely supporting an effective management strategy and operation. If Canada wants to be a head coach then he should call his agent and say to his agent...."find me an entry level head coaching position somewhere."

The fact that Aranda is rumored to have wanted Canada gone is very telling though

If Miles would have just muted his, he would still be coaching at LSU.

At the time you had Guice that was dinged up pretty good and Williams was not at 100%. It's against Troy, a non P5 team and the "cupcake" you schedule for homecoming, so most probably the "braintrust" figured that starting the game with Brossette was of little risk.

Actually it was a good play and a good call on first down to start the game, Brossette ran through a huge hole and had gained almost 6 yards before the Troy guy tackled him straight on. You can maybe blame Brossete for running a little too staight up or not being as shifty as one may like, but it was no a bad play and if Brossette does not fumble the ensuing result would have been 2nd and 4.

Let's see how Tenth Tiger spins this through his "sauces" to make you guys happy

I will concur this story to be true.

Also they had another argument in another game that Canada wanted to play 2 back set with Brennan but coach o overruled him and stuck with etling.

Canada was so upset that him and coach o didn't speak for 5 days.
