I'm pretty sure Cresse was like 1-16 in the CWS the year we won.

But the one hit won it all.

That's why I picked him. I picked Shipp because I remember people holding up a sign in the outfield that said "Shipp Happens."

I honestly would have probably only come up with Walker and Larson on my own before I saw the list.

I got to meet his parents on the plane coming home from Omaha in '96. The pilot threatened to turn around the plane if the LSU fans didn't quit taunting the four Miami fans aboard.

91 would be Rick Greene, 93 Brett laxton, 97 eddy furniss, 2000 Wally pontiff, 2009 Louis Coleman would be my guess.
