Can we please find a punter in the portal? I haven’t heard BK say that was a need.

I’d love a FG kicker with more than 50 yards of range but Ramos has for the most part been solid as long as you don’t frick up the snap or hold and don’t force him to try 54 yard kicks knowing his range is in the 47-51 yard range depending on the wind. I can deal with that but we need a reliable punter that can kick it more than 37 yards with no hang time. There has to be a better option out there even if it costs us a scholarship spot and not a PWO.

Maybe they will want the Baylor punter after scouting him for the bowl game.

We have 2 punters on scholarship. Are they both coming back? Neither are SEC caliber

Ochsendorf is out of eligibility but Todd could come back as a 5th year senior. We have to have another punter somewhere, even if it’s a WO we need competition. Hell why not see if Arron Burrell can punt? We all know his leg is ridiculously strong from his kickoffs.

He batter care, this is the SEC. Any punt, FG, return, etc could be the difference in the game.

Well he doesn't. Literally see special teams rankings for any category since he began with that atrocious performance against FSU in 2022.

BK will address Offense and Defense every year.

I am pretty sure he punted some in HS and he also place kicked. His HS coach said he had range of 60... that does not mean accuracy but he could hit them in practice that far.
I was of the opinion this season that he needed to get the nod for any over 45yds as Ramos is out of leg at that point.
