we are talking offense, that is where the QB plays

They don't give you negative points, so yes ZERO is as bad as you can do.

There absolutely should be. We shouldn't be locked into any one guy because non of them have been great.

Let a new coach evaluate them all (Etling, Harris, McMillan, Scott) under a new OC and system.

I'll flat out say, I think Harris has a higher ceiling than Etling. IF he can get his shite together and do the easy things asked of a QB. His strong arm and mobility don't amount to much though if he can't pull it all together.

If we hired Herman, I'd love to see what Harris and particularly Scott Jr could do in that system

It absolutely could have been worse. His back was to their end zone for a large part of the second half and the only turnover he had was when his arm was hit. He didn't do anything to improve our chances of winning, but he also didn't cost us based on bad decisions. The coaches don't have that same confidence in Harris.

[quote]Well I certainly would not blame him for telling us to shove up our azzes.[quote]

Why would HE be mad? 15 starts isn't enough time?

We got ZERO points. Explain.

Would you feel better to lose 3-0, 10-0, 21-0, 35-0

Why you think O was chewing his arse out? For a great job?

His decision to not hit two first down passes was pretty damning.

Shouldn't this be kinda important for the most important position on the field.

Let me ask you this;

in a 0-0 game, a turover by our offense, in which they would score off of, wouldnt be worse, in your estimation?

why is this the new mantra? the assumption that Harris or anyone else turns it over and not only that, they score........shite we gotta raise the bar on expectations of the offense.

We were given great field position in the first half too...did everyone just forget that we turned that into ZERO points too.

There is zero evidence that Harris turns it over more.

I am NOT a Harris fan btw. But Etling was lost as a goose.

Pretty sure Harris is done taking meaningful snaps at LSU.

Just listening to how Orgeron talks about it, and how he answered a question about Harris playing in his post-game Saturday, it doesn't seem likely.

Etling was Turrible!!!! Even when he had no pressure He couldn't throw some passes. Let alone being able to move around in the pocket Harris couldn't been any worse.

Did you hear Danielson say on two of the 5 sacks.... There's just no where to go with the football.
Sometimes taking a sack is better than risking a to.

This is all pointless.
It's just like deal with CEO... Some of you have an agenda against certain players and coaches and you want them gone and replaced with someone else you have no fricking clue if they are any better than what we have.

Change for the sake of change!

of course, but a lot of those sacks and pressures were because he was holding the ball too long

yes, of course.

No one is saying that Harris is the long term answer. Just that no one is sacred. And at points in the second half, a series wouldn't hurt anyone....the half where we got 20 yards of offense and zero points.

Harris has never been shut out either....so there is that too.

That's not all on DE. You can thank our O line and OC for that. Quick short to intermediate pass plays were what needed to be called. He wasn't exactly set up to succeed.

Im not saying it's any type of mantra. Im addressing your statement that "it couldnt get any worse".
