Can we get a TRO on the deadline for the 105-man roster?

We basically have Thursday’s injunction hearing and then the next day is the deadline for setting an official roster.

What if the SEC files a motion to stay the original rules or files a federal lawsuit on Friday? Would these prevent us from adding former training camp players in time for the deadline? (I refuse to call these guys “NFL players”. The media is using that term very loosely. These guys never made a roster and never played in a real NFL game.)

Maybe we could get a TRO on the 105-man deadline so that we have time to do what we need to do to see if these guys are actually eligible or not.

I would imagine LSU has a plan for all scenarios

No one is affected by the 105 man cap due to grandfathering. It is a media talking point. No one is getting cut at LSU. Our true roster size is 98. Adding these 3 gets us to 101.

Plenty of SEC rosters have more players than us. Georgia right now is showing 122 (but I am not sure how many are grandfathered).

We’re not talking about that here. We’re talking about the SEC’s deadline for submitting your official roster. We don’t want to include the former training camp players on that roster if we’re going to get penalized severely for it.
