I guess the real question is this: If JJ is out, is it JL's game solo? Or will they plan to give Mett snaps no matter what?

Yes. LSU does not have to pass a lot to beat Oregon. It just needs to pass effectively. Around 60 percent completions for between 150 and 200 yards will get them to respect the pass and open up even more running lanes. No more than 1 INT as well.

If we can defeat Oregon with JJ I suspect we can do it with just about anyone playing the position.

from what I saw of Mett in the spring game, I think he'd do a better job of opening up the field with the deep passing game....

JL will play and win if JJ can't. People need to quit acting like he's still a freshman. I doubt Mett knows the playbook yet, nor do Rivers or Jerrard, but I am excited to see what Jerrard has to offer for the future.
