you are an idiot. I'll bet you Miles will never win another NC. but 2 in 3 years at Fl is elite. One loss is elite, 2 is not bad but anything other than that with the talent LSU has, is unacceptable.

hey, i am just going off of what you said.

oh, by the way, saban never went undefeated either. so he is apparently not an elite coach either according to you.

Saban built this program from the ground up, if anything, we should be thanking him for the partial success we have had

and i do.

Right....insofar as every (next) game is THE defining moment.

you play football people to win games, don't you? oh i'm sorry, this fanbase has lost that touch. Sure lets slowly slipp back to the 90's. F U, I won't let that happen

Since when is losing to the two best teams in the country a sign that the LSU football program has become mediocre or approaching any state remotely comparable to the LSU teams of the 90's?

Before you fire Miles, why don't wait until LSU actually plays the next three games. I guarantee you that LSU is going to win out and finish 10-2.

The knee jerk reactions and melodrama generated among certain LSU fans in reaction to a tough loss has reached the point of being ridiculous.

So LSU fans should accept 3 losses a year when Saban proved that LSU can be an elite program. Miles simply cannot get it done against elite coaches.

Ah yes Saban and his losses to the top coaches of the time like Mac errr. I mean Watson Brown in '00 (4 losses)and David Cutcliffe in '01 (3 loss year)Oh and then there was a loss to Houston Nutt in '02 (4 loss year)and the National Championship year of '03 (He friggin lost to Zook)And the last year of his reign yet another 3 loss team. By your standards Saban sucked as a coach too.

After he goes undefeated and wins his 3rd national championship with a team he has put together, I don't think anyone will doubt that he is. Miles got a hotrod and has never changed the oil. Now there is some weird tapping noise from under the hood. Will he fix it? or Will he let the whole engine burn up cause he doesnt hear it? We will see.

and might I remind you Sabanistas no one from LSU ran him off. The Dolphins finally won the Jimmy Sexton yearly "find me more money" contest.

Nearly everyone picked us preseason as a 10-2, 9-3 team. Now that we are, people are flipping out. Odd.

Your saban argument is fricking retarded.
He went UNDEFEATED through the SEC last year with far less talent than LSU and beat LSU.
He should of beat LSU the year before but thanks to a miracle fumble at the end of the game by JPW LSU barely pulled it out with twice as much talent than ALABAMA.
His defense is top in the country year in and year out.

If you're at work and you're spending this much time on the Rant then you're definitely a dumbass, but your boss may be a bigger dumbass for hiring you because you're wasting his money by fricking around bitching about something you know nothing about.

the ole lets make the parallel betweeen miles and Saban. The state of the programs were on opposite ends of a spectrum with Miles and Saban so making that argument is ludicrous.

How many seasons at LSU did Saban have two or less losses? 10-2 is "not bad". Wow.

Exactly. I just can't understand the hatred for Miles. He is a very good coach, not great, but is a great recruiter and is willing to make changes to keep his staff as one of the best in the league. Combine these things and he will keep us going with strong chances to continue to win National Championships. Saban is a great coach, great recruiter, and will run off coaches and turn on his players in the blink of an eye. Considering these things, they will have a lot of back and forth games with each of them winning a few. It is called a rivalry for a reason, you win some you lose some. We had a bad season last year and are on par to make major improvements this year. I have faith in Miles.

That's not really fair. He took over a very bad 3-8 (yet talented) LSU team and won a bowl the next year. The next year, he wins the SEC. Within 4 years, he take the team to and wins the NC. There was a LOT of rebuilding to do the next year with a not so good Sr QB and a remarkably talented, but very green JaMarcus Russell. Les took over with the cupboard absolutely full and within 3 years won a NC. There was a lot of rebuilding to do that year (as there usually is after a NC run) and what happened? A five loss season, and this year, a 2 or maybe 3 loss season. Lets also not forget there was 1 less chump gimme game a year for Saban while he was at LSU. So, building your whole argument for Les on 10 win seasons is just silly. Again, that said, Les is a good coach.
