I’m an old educated man from the streets of Nola East. I used to think I understood most lingo in the streets.
I was reading an article on outkick that posted a quote from an ole Miss student. For the life of me, I have no clue what he said.
What’s “K”?

quote:
"Man, I'm not gonna lie. F--- Lane Kiffin. Lane Kiffin's 'K', we smokin him bro, no cap," one Ole Miss student said inside "The Grove" on Friday afternoon.

I have no idea so I asked ChatGPT. It said:
In that slang, “K” means “killer” or “against/hostile to.”
So “Lane Kiffin’s K” is basically saying “Lane Kiffin killer” / “we’re against Lane Kiffin.” It comes from gang and drill-rap slang where adding “-K” to a person or group’s name means opposition to them.
“We smokin’ him” continues the same metaphor, meaning they want to beat or humiliate him, not literally harm him.
