I don't think he has character issues but if Guice is not showing up to scheduled meetings with teams then that is an issue.

If this is the case why doesn't the TV personality say it. But they are not. The Character issue leads you to believe it is something much more.

He certainly has not learned how to stay off social media. Even after last season when stated he was closing his accounts to focus on football. Lasted like a week.

Then he did post the 4 wheeler video.

Thats really all I seen which isnt bad at all. If he is missing meetings during the process though that is serious.

Schefter tweeted earlier basically saying that the NFL found no proof that anyone asked the questions he said they asked. I guess they're saying he's lying.

@AdamSchefter

After an investigation that included formal reviews and reports from every team that interviewed LSU running back Derrius Guice, the league did not confirm that any club made the reported controversial inquiries to him, a source told ESPN. Investigation now concluded.

From an article on espn.com:
quote:

The league spent weeks trying to figure out who had asked Guice these questions. At least one team said Guice admitted that he "made up" the statements that led to a lengthy NFL investigation, according to a source.

Maybe he's trying to determine what team picks him? No idea.

That's some weird wording. So they didn't confirm that the league asked those questions, but they also didn't confirm that the league didn't ask those questions?

If he legitimately said he made it up, then what leg does he have to stand on?

Looks like Guice screwed himself by being too cocky and too loose in his interactions with press and social media.

Just shut your mouth and you are s guaranteed 1st rounder, play the I'm so cool look at me card in professional environment you lose.

Grow up. Love Guice, but time to mature. It's real life now.

He'll still go no later than early 2nd round, and maybe 1st. His tape says it all.

Let's be real, no one would ever admit to asking that question, especially in this political climate and edpecially after the NFL specifically addressed exactly this in the past. I don't know if anyone did or not but an NFL report saying no one admitted it doesn't really mean shite to me

Exactly

Also true. Who the hell knows what really happened. No matter what, this is gonna hurt his draft stock though.

Of course no one would admit it but that doesn’t mean you can’t verify someone actually said it, if they could not confirm if anyone asked that question that’s a little odd

many players skip meetings with teams they don't want to draft them
