That is way beyond the comprehension of this board. If we can't score 50 against A&M on the road then there is no way we will score 6 against Bama is along the lines of what most are thinking.

With a big special teams play and 2 turnovers, yes.

Otherwise, no.

Maybe its just me, but I have a strange feeling that we will be able to move the ball on the ground. Everybody is hyping Bama's D-Line, but I don't see what the fuss is about. My only concern is a young O-Line against some disguised blitzes and we have to keep them honest in the pass game. If LSU can do that we will win a very close game.

We took them out of their element and they staggered, while, outside of the first quarter, we looked completely comfortable.

I'm sure the plan was to look like shite passing the ball again on purpose to throw Bama off.

Home field advantage. Redemption on the minds of many.

All depends on Mett and the hands of the receiving core.

I'm leaning towards the possibility of another 9-6 boxscore

I think we'll need 24-28 to win the game. Confidence is low that the offense can produce that.

We better hope it's that type of game, or it will be 1/9 all over again. This team isn't capable of putting up 21 against Bama

I thought USCe had the number one defense in the SEC when we took them down. Ran and threw on them that day.

I am always optimistic about the team.

what in the world have you seen from our offense this year that makes you think we can score 21 against Bama??? We were lucky to catch USCe at the perfect time (after an emotional win by them and after a loss by us, and at home).

I'm discounting our performance against USCe because we just haven't duplicated it against any other decent team. I think we'll play hard and will be emotionally high, and our defense could keep it close. But our offense just isn't capable of scoring points. We need turnovers and special teams help to have a real chance.

Alabama defense allows avg 7 points per game. Yes I know they haven't played anybody, etc, etc, etc. Our offense has been our biggest concern. How will we cause them to allow triple their average?

If we can stay 2 dimensional and get a little help from the D and Sp Teams, we can win.

If Bama forces us to be 1 dimensional (RUSH only)
we do not.

The game plan for plan will be the same as 1-9-12, stop the rush, prove that you can pass.
Hope our coach brings a different game plan.

33-31 LSU.

Either that or if lsu plays conservatively not to lose, 17-7 Alabama win.

only way LSU Wins this game is to go all out...turnovers and all...and make this a game about physical excellence and let the atmosphere rule.

I think this will happen. Les Miles will do everything to win this game and you will see turnovers, you will see touchdowns, and an awesome game where LSU wins in the end.
