I'll take my chances to make him at least begin again under a new name. If those three come out...I'm pretty damn confident they get at least 5. Defense will be nasty and guys are gonna look good with the DC....and lf and Dupree are locks on offense....while pocic has a real good chance.

This is not my forum and I really don't GAS. However, in the interest of reality, in the 2011 GOTC and the 2012 NC, LSU and Alabama COMBINED fielded six first round draft picks that year. The chances of having six off of one team all in the same year is only in someone's fervent and inexperienced imagination.

Wow...Ok.. Well I am older than you and been following LSU football since 1971... I would say that makes me quite well versed when it comes to talking LSU football... The draft is something that you can't look at this far out... PLUS I don't pay that much attention to where and when LSU players get drafted. I am more concerened with how well they do AT LSU.... A lot of people on here follow players bigtime once they leave.. I don't as much......

A lot of people enjoy following former players and pay attention to how they do at the next level. That's them and more power to them.. Not a problem for me...I do know this... LSU could have a very special season next year... There is really no reason they shouldn't except for that dreaded injury bug that nobody can control... If Les pays any attention to how well this team played in the bowl and just keeps that kind of gameplan rolling, LSU will be tough to beat... BUT that doesn't mean that 4, or more 1st round picks will come off the team.

Not so sure about this... LSU is such a big draw for pretty much any recruit... payers know that if they come here that getting to the next level is already possible... Same with the other 10 or so schools that can say this...I doubt a kid is gonna change his mind and come to LSU just BECAUSE LSU somehow gets 6 1st rounders.....

Again, because you don't seem to understand, I did not compare them. I simply provided examples of other players that we, the rant, believed to be future first rounders. Alas, they did not go. It proves my point that not every great LSU player goes in the first round. You and other posters started comparing them in some misguided attempt to call me out.
The draft has so many variables. It's hard to think that we could see that many Tigers go in the first. It would be great for it to happen, but I doubt 6-8 guys go. My bet is 2-3 based on how the draft tends to work outt.
