Can LSU get back in one year?

How long will it take to get back to Omaha? This feels really different than past “down” seasons.

There are down seasons and then there's this
This is beyond a down season
This is like Alabama football going 3-9 and a bunch of Bama fans telling others to stfu bc they win natties

Teams can easily be flipped. We are also starting 4 true freshmen this weekend.

Yeah. They'll do the same thing they did last year.
The other "down" season (singular) didn't involve losing your best two arms and your best bat.

Need two starters
And 2 legit portal players
Hopefully a good defensive catcher (serna or Arrambide will transfer out i dont see both of them staying)

we return our entire starting rotation. yeah we can turn it around offensively.

Exactly. I don't get the tall order stuff.
Depends how well you hit on transfers and how certain guys progress year to year.
Look how much Kade Anderson progressed in one season.

Well, they'll have to start with flushing damn near everyone. Definitely need about 15-20 guys that can pitch, plus fire all the NIL players. I say fire them, because they're getting paid. Plus new assistants, strength coach, pitching coach.... etc.
This may take 3yrs.
