Bama has two nice wins against two extremely over hyped opponents. I honestly cant say that I have seen a completely dominate SEC team yet this year. But I do believe we can run the ball on anyone in the country and that gives us the ability to win or be in every game. Just remember its College football and anything can happen!

sounds like your trying to make excuses for BAMA being back a year before they were supposed to be! Give us some credit! Yall gave up 24 points to an MSU offense that didnt even score against AU! AU offense scored for them with that safety!

With @ Florida, @ South Car., Georgia & Tulane up first, I don't even want to think about Bama. Even as a fan, I'm not ready to think about Bama, especially with Florida and Georgia ahead of them on the schedule.

I just hope we're both still unbeaten come 11-8-08. Bama has Kentucky, Ole Miss, Tenn and Ark. State ahead of them. Prospects of one of those being a let down game?? Saban did lose to UAB while at LSU. Could Phat Phil beat Bama in front of the home crowd and save his job for one more year?

In this case, the cliche coach speak serves us the best...just take em one game at a time.

I have confidence that LSU can beat all the teams on our schedule. I just have to wait for each Saturday to see if I'm proven wrong.

Who is Alabama ????
I am not sure of how good they are yet.
...not mean as a put down...I am not sure of how good they are.

they beat Clemson and look good doing it...
Clemson was the media darling for the ACC
but they beat the citadel, north carolina st.,
south carolina state and lost to maryland????

they scored 31 against GA, some of it was GA assisted and GA won the second half hands down.

so my answer is Yes.

LSU has the best D-line in the SEC. John Parker Wilson has been known not to handle pressure very well *remember last year*. We will come with a great defensive scheme to bring the pressure. It will be so loud that John Parker will not be able to handle it. You'll see.

If we play LSU football then hell yes....if not then no.

Gonna be a good one to watch but I will start worrying about the Gumps when the week of Nov 8th arrives!!

There are always a bunch of rantards on here acting like Bama never has a chance against the mighty LSU. It's just funny, in kind of a laugh-at-the-retarded-kid kind of way. LSU may beat Bama this year, but to act like it's a foregone conclusion is just stupid. LSU BARELY beat Bama last year in our first year under a new coach and new system. This Bama team is MUCH better than the one you faced last year, so to suggest that Bama has no chance against the tigers, who, by the way, haven't done anything especially impressive yet, is just delusional. <--- I'll head all you geniuses off here and <insert joke about Bama fan saying "delusional"> so you won't have to strain yourselves.

Note to all college football teams-

Quit. Cease football operations. Bama is back. We all stand no chance.

Damnit.
