so naturally, we should take a lefty that plays CF and hasn’t hit well at all so far and plug him in at second base
This stupid arse mentality drives me crazy on here. No idea what he (not you Deaux) is talking about and just keeping at it.

Some people just think every problem is so easy to solve and just can’t imagine why Paul hasn’t already done so

Watson came here as a SS. It’s absolutely possible.

You do realize that nearly ever player on this roster played some SS in high school, including pitchers? It's normally the position your best player plays, and every player on LSU's roster was the best player on their high school team.
I do know he came in as a SS. And it's a running joke with that poster. He likely can't handle an infield position at LSU though. If he could, I'd be all for it.

Hey, dumbasses, he throws left handed. He is not playing Middle infielder. It is not possible.

Check yourself, dumbass. He may not move from CF, but Watson’s not left handed.

Hell, why not put Peterson in there at 2b...he drops bombs coach.

You’re gonna destroy djrunners fantasy that he has spotted the rarest of the rare... the ballplayer so special he throws left and bats right.
The breed is such rare indeed that they’re planning a Progressive commercial. Or is that Geico? Eghad!

This is an even dumber idea. You coach little league don't you?

LOL, what are you babbling about! It doesn't matter what side of the plate a middle infielder bats from, only which hand he throws from. This is getting silly with dumb.

Gio probably will not. Watson could, but not sure you wanna mess with a solid centerfielder

Actually it makes perfect sense if you pay attention to what some of these idiots come up with. Like CPM is a idiot because he didn't safety squeeze with the bases loaded, infield in.
Bases loaded, less than 2 outs, and a 3-2 count send your runners on the pitch, if its a ball hitter takes it and if its a strike he bunts it. Seen it work plenty of times.

Reading comprehension is hard. Derp.
Let me lay the flow of this convo out so that even you can understand it:
Somebody suggested moving Watson (a right-handed thrower) from CF to 2B and playing Gio (a lefty) in CF.
Somebody else responded that it’s not possible.
I responded that it IS possible because Watson (a RH thrower) came to LSU as a SS.
That’s when your dumb arse chimed in.
Capiche?

I get it, you want to turn our star centerfielder into a second baseman so we can put a freshman centerfielder in to captain the outfield. Because you want to replace a 220ish hitter with a 270ish hitter. Is that what you are saying and on top of it, you want to do that in March. Is that correct?

If Reid keeps producing, there really isn't a reason that Hal needs to be taken off the field. Him and Smith are a very good MIF tandem, and make us much stronger up the middle with Watson in CF.
When Dugas gets back, I don't see a problem with working him in there some, since he will probably be the 2B next year with Hughes at SS and (hopefully) Cade Doughty at 3rd base. Christian Cairo may also factor in to one of those spots.
I expect Bianco to get work at catcher over the summer, but he may still factor in on the infield in the future.

Agree. LSU's middle of the infield is very strong and there's no reason to switch it.

No. You don’t.
I said it’s POSSIBLE. I’m not necessarily advocating for it.
That being said, long have you been following LSU Baseball? Haven’t you seen Mainieri do some weird shite to light a fire under his teams before? There was talk just last year of moving Watson to SS when Smith went down.

Exactly. I actually expected to see a little more of Willis at catcher given Garza has been injured. He was the number 4 catcher coming out of high school last year. I wonder if he is he is banged up or having trouble adjusting?

Someone posted yesterday that he’s recovering from a shoulder tear
