I know he’s an outfielder but can he seriously play the infield specifically second base?

He at the very lease deserves a shot at DH

But my lord Hal is horrendous at the plate and so is Broussard.

This has nothing to do with his game winning walk more just his composure at the plate throughout the season from an anecdotal observance.

Hughes and Bianco just are not viable options at the plate at all right now.
Also hope maineri moves Beloso back to the 5th hole he seams to like that spot and has proven to be decent slugger there.

Sucks that Dugas is injured we could’ve found out how good he was

Unfortunately until Hughes and Broussard turn the corner we’re stuck with them

Hal is batting sub 200 with 10ks

He had the same exact avg and Ks this point last season.

Gio deserves more at bats

So you want to give up multiple runs by putting Gio at second base, due to errors, just to get maybe a hit or two more a weekend?

If Broussard/Dugas/Bianco wasn't hurt/were hitting Hughes would not be playing right now. Don't blame Hughes because many many others aren't doing what it takes to remove him.

When is the last time you saw a left handed second baseman?

I agree, Hughes needs to get a splinter in his arse, Bianco isn’t much better.

I wish it was something that was possible.

I'm all about getting the best 9 hitters in the lineup. Not if it comes at the expense of giving up multiple unearned runs though.

Exactly. Everyone wants to shite on Hughes because he’s better than the other options. Makes no sense

This.

I used to do this on MLB The Show just to frick around because I thought it was funny to see them turn their entire body around on routine ground ball plays.

Actually it makes perfect sense if you pay attention to what some of these idiots come up with.

Like CPM is a idiot because he didn't safety squeeze with the bases loaded, infield in.

I know some of you guys know nothing about baseball but what compels you to post about it?
It's like me posting about Gymnastics or I book I never read...I don't get it.

They had to scramble. The Hess sucks threads they had pre prepared wouldn't have made sense, so they had to come up with something else on the fly.

Never said shite about Hess before.

Hal sucks, I’m not a complacent fan like yourself.

so naturally, we should take a lefty that plays CF and hasn’t hit well at all so far and plug him in at second base

Wait...I'm complacent because I didn't think taking a left handed outfielder, and putting him at second base, was our best option?

Well, I guess it's better to be "complacent" than to be a total fricking idiot.
