The BOS may have approved his contract, but FKA was shoe horned into the position by Piyush Bobby Jindal in 2013 as the ONLY "finalist". Many at LSU didn't like the hire and the Faculty Senate (in all their wisdom) passed a vote of no confidence regarding the hire because FKA was never a tenured professor and the graduation rates at CSU-Long Beach.

Also, the BOS are political appointees by the governor. Now THAT should tell you everything that you need to know.

The BOS has always been political appointees....so what's your point?

O'Keefe was never a tenured professor either. The President is usually chosen because of administrative ability. I don't know about you, but I don't trust the Faculty Senate's judgment on anything....never have. You want an English or Psych professor making decisions on how t run a University.....they become professors because they can escape the real world

All that matters is Williams and the BoS think he’s doing great!!

If earring guy thinks F*king Alexander is doing a good job, then they can both go together as a package deal.
