Let's talk about CD versus the rest of the team:

11/98, 2 TDs - that is an 8.9 YPC, but even taking out his big run (26 yards), that remains an impressive 7.3 YPC (10/73).

Compare that to the rest of the team (minus Nuss of course), Williams, Jackson and Thomas (<-his end around was a nice plus) combined for 18/59, which is awful, barely 3 1/4 YPC.

We get blown out if he doesn’t get those touches.

I absolutely hated how we kept going back to KJ and JW at the end after Caden clearly showed he was able to handle the load.

Getting a breather here and there, of course. But it seemed like the coaches didn't trust him to be out there on key downs towards the end and that was mind boggling.

You think he had him confused with Bradford? Didn’t he play for Oklahoma?

He’s originally from Oklahoma. Either his mom or dad played ball at OU

His hometown on the team’s roster is Oklahoma City. I swear some of you just be talking with no facts

My dad kept saying why do they stop giving the ball to the guy getting 10 yds a carry. Even when first contact was around the LOS he would still manage to make something positive out it.

Mom ran track at OU, hence the burners.

He did a lot of his damage in this game after contact. Can’t wait to see his home run speed in the open field

Because Ive figured out that coaches can be just as stupid with in game decisions as any illogical fan. These coaches make way too many head scratching decisions for this not to be true. The best one is how they love to just go away from what’s working and never go back to it the rest of the game. If I had a dollar for everytime I’ve witnessed that watching LSU over the years. I’ll never understand why coaches like to abandon something that is working.

Certainly see what you are saying. I didn’t mind Williams in really late in game for protection pick up and ball security.

I'm really excited about this kid. He actually is a good reason to look forward to the next game. He's only going to get better and better.
