Haven’t been to a game in a few years can you still just buy a tailgate pass or should I say have to buy one. If so is it still the day of or do you have to buy it before?? TIA

Are you talking about that stuff near the engineering building? I think they have a website for that—I’d guess probably a week in advance, at least, to book one.

You can buy a parking pass for a spot and tailgate there but there are plenty of places you can tailgate without having to pay anything.

When did this become a thing? I thought we had to respect people's long established spots.

You dont have to pay to tailgate. You have to pay to park in many of the prime places though.
There are paid tailgates through LSU that are turnkey just show up things for people or businesses that want that.

I’m not trying to buy a tailgate or go to a paid one. But at one time you had to pay 10-20$ to get on campus to tailgate. Was wondering if that’s still a thing

Corporate taking over gameday experience

We really don't have that much of that. Auburn has a ton of it. All of the tailgates anywhere close to the stadium were corporate. Lots of plain white tents with catering.

No cooking or music anywhere. Auburn sold out to big business

We saw more tailgating at our campground at University RV Station. We had a great time all weekend and we were surprised not to see tailgate parties set up. We may have missed it on the other side of campus

The Revelry. And it’s more like months in advance.
