Not stringing hits together is one thing against this kid. 8 strikeouts through 3 innings with one ball hit hard is something else.

Kind of scary we can’t hit a 70 mph change up belt high over the middle.

Y’all do realize how hard it is for guys that consistently see 95+ to hit someone that throws in the 70’s. It’s the same adjustment as someone who sees 70’s trying to hit 95+. There is a reason MLB relievers have made a living off off speed and junk. Y’all gotta relax Lmao. At least let them see him twice before you melt.

Johnson in game coaching isn't great at all when it comes to hitting. His refusal to also put pressure on pitchers by stealing and bunting is dumb as shite.

When we had 13 walks and 14 base runners against Iowa were we aggressive?

What does Iowa have to do with this game? Why bring up what you did when it hasn’t been a factor tonight? Have to get runners on base with less than 2 outs to put pressure on the pitcher stealing bases
Paul moved the runners plenty. Our fans hated it
