Those takes were so obnoxious and disrespectful.

Jay's 1st season was super impressive given what he was left pitching wise.

2nd season a Natty.

3rd season in a down year off a Championship still made a late run and nearly hosted a Super.

4th season another Natty.

He's won everywhere he's been. He's played for as many Natties as Schloss, Vitello, and DVH combined.

Those people annoyed me so much. I am glad to see Jay get the respect he deserves.

That's such a bad take by whoever posted that. Jay hires the best assistants.

Ok maybe i should of said "basher" instead of a whiner

because all he does is bash other posters just like Hold That Tiger 10 and that's a 100000% correct statement from me

There is one a-hole poster whose name I can't find who spent all season calling Johnson "J" and pissing on him every step of the way. I hope I can find that guy

When USCe wins 2/3 this weekend and LSU doesn't host a super, maybe y'all will see Jay Orgeron for what he is by Jack Daniel

Jay 3rd best coach in the conference behind Vitello and Schloss by Burreauxxx
quote:

Burreaux

This thread still applies.

Some hideous management by Jay.

Frey in the 2-hole
quote:

Burreuaxxx

What’s Milam’s BA these days? I guess I didn’t realize he was dominating like you seem to suggest here. And Kilen > Dickinson without a question. He was when in the portal and he still is now. Jay tried, Tony reeled him in.
quote:

Burreauxxx comparing '23 LSU and '23 Tenn

Or we won despite him because Lipsey bought Tanks and Skenes to pair with Maineri’s/Cain’s holdovers of Crews, Morgan et al, so we could afford to have a .270 hitter who was an error-fest at SS

Honestly not much different than Tennessee is now
quote:

One of the many times Burreauxxx shite on Stanfield

Yeah Stanfield is clearly better than Kilen and Fischer

Probably in the running for 1-1 in the MLB Draft. GOAT 9-hole hitter
quote:

More Burrreauxx posts from the same thread

The King of Whiff? No real team is scared of Jones. He made a lucky swing. Happens. That’s Jay Ball. Win or die by homers. He dies plenty in big games.
And my favorite post of all below.

My post

Genuine question

Pretend LSU and Tennessee remain constructed 100% as is for the remainder of the season. LSU hosts, Tennessee travels for a super. LSU wins a title. Tennessee gets knocked out in their super.

What is your take? Who would be the better team? Who would be the better coach?

His response

Context matters. I'd give you a genuine answer if that happens. Let's see what it looks like.

I have consistently said all season that LSU will be fine, there's too much depth compared to other programs to not have a high floor. The only team I've seen that's better is Tennessee.

Can my opinion change and things look different in June? I've literally said that multiple times

Take Texas for example: What a great coaching job Schloss has done to be where they are. But do I think they're better than LSU? No I don't.

Many datapoint pushers on this board would point to Texas' record and say they're better than LSU. That's not how I evaluate things, I'm much more qualitative because of injuries and the general nature of baseball.

And, yes, I do believe Tony is the better coach. Honestly, I see no real genius in Jay. At least Tony gets his dudes to play with confidence. Both are recruiters above anything, which alone probably makes them both top-level coaches in this sport
It's a shame he's banned and can't come back and eat more crow than any poster in history.

He loved to shite on the team every day and then say "yeah but they could win!" so he could both sides everything. Even in the both sides posts, he still sucked Tony's dick. I'm happy Tony got his guys to get knocked out of the post season in confidence. I'd rather do that, over winning a title.

More, from the same thread, from Burreauxxx
quote:

How come Jay can't find a DH on a roster loaded with #1 recruiting classes and a ton of NIL money spent on transfers
quote:

Sounds like the same sitch with Dickenson and Milam to me That SS had every bit as good of a series at the plate as Milam did, which was a guy tRant told me was a "star" last summer
quote:

With the way Tony recruits, they don't need him

The top 5-6 in their batting order is the best in the country. Real next level talent

Jay has Pearson & Frey batting cleanup lolll
quote:

It's wild we have a hard time finding a DH on this team
quote:

Oof

Curiel can be great

So can a couple pitchers, maybe

Otherwise, the terms “great”, “stars” etc get thrown around way too much by fan boys
quote:

Jay signs numbers

Tennessee gets the elite guys like Kilen/Doyle these days
Both of their ^^^ former teams made the CWS. They sat at home. Except Doyle. He got a chance to see LSU win in person, as he came in not first place for the golden spikes.
quote:

If anyone’s being honest about this subject, it’s been clear that the last two years the offense has been built around the HR.

If LSU doesn’t slug — we don’t win. Period.

The bat-to-ball skills just aren’t there. We have no offense in the sense of manufacturing runs. Not good at moving runners, playing smart situationally, putting hits together, calling plays successfully, etc. We live and die by the HR.

It’s just not good baseball. If Jay doesn’t have far and away the best roster then it has been proven it doesn’t work.
LSU went 5-0 in Omaha with a grand total of 2 home runs.
quote:

We only score on HRs

JAY BALL
quote:

Tony > Jay

Jay is the Les Miles which is solid

Just too bad he will have to face Saban for a decade
quote:

It’s gonna be fun to see these same posters digging Jay the day he leaves LSU

I need to start the bookmarks. It was one of my favorite things about tRant during the Orgeron days. The staunch defenders who quickly turned into haters when he was fired lolll
Wonder how the bookmarks are going.
quote:

My point is that college baseball has progressively become more offensive the last 5-10 years. That’s just the truth.

But how many times has the elevated offensive data translated into LSU hosting regionals or making super regionals, Sammy?

So, is the answer is that Jay’s falling short then that tells me his offenses clearly aren’t good enough. And/or his defenses/pitching ain’t good

He (and he's not alone) has a full season of bitching in his post history, where he constantly says this team is fricked and won't do this and won't do that, then still goes on the SEC rant and talks shite to other teams' fans.

I'll never understand that.

Stanny being one of the 3 to sit at the podium following the title makes his retarded posts all year that much sweeter.

Ole pop up Stanfield at it again, hitting missiles to knock in 2 in the CWS finals.
