That said I do think now he’s probably a little better than Etling but he is saddled to a terrible OC.

Who as beaten two top 10 teams and has LSU at 4-0. Pretty freaking terrible.

Etling threw some dumbass INTs at times. At least Burrow hasn't done that.

Did he? He threw 7 ints in 2 years, soooo....

I think Burrow is more dynamic than etling, via arm talent and he's a little better runner.

But overall production is on par so far.

Their defense is garbage and I always have faith in Aranda.

I hope you're right, but Aranda's D has entire quarters where they disappear.

There's been over a dozen plays already where he has hit a dig, or an RPO to move the chains. He's a few notches above Etling with the rest of this year and one more year to play.

He threw 2 last year. 2. And 7 in 2 seasons.

You can stick that narrative up your arse.

Crucial Pick against Troy and in the first quarter against Bama inside our own 40 yard line. Had some bad ones in 2016 as well but sure man.

A lot fans shite on Etling but after watching our Spring game, it was clear that Danny was by far the best quarterback we had last season. Also Bill Billichick(sc) thought enough of him to keep him on the practice squad.

Burrow is 4 games into his first starts at the collegiate level. Appears to me Burrow has a higher ceiling than D.Etling. People forget Danny Etling had a lot more game starts and experience by the time he stepped in for Brandon Harris four games into the 2016 season. Danny Etling also benefited from having elite NFL-ready RBs and more experienced WRs in 2016/2017. Our top WR on this team had 1 career catch coming into this season and that is Burrow's goto target.

This isn't a knock on Danny Etling, but Joe Burrow is not stepping into the QB spot with the roster we had in 2016 or 2017 at the skill positions.

Burrow has been asked to make, and had made, throws Etling was never asked to make.

Because Ogre-on is trying to keep his job. He’s calling more passes. There hasn’t been a single pass that Joe made that Danny couldn’t have made. They have the same arm talent and football intelligence.
