Not really any, he was sacked.
Try and think critically here for a moment in this thread.
If a QB is getting sacked twice as much as another, you dont think the QB getting hit a lot more might have a tendency to rush things or have to make plays quicker? Things like that affect accuracy. There were times this year Burrow would get killed a few times then feel like he had to rush things, it's the mental aspect of thinking you aren't protected and have to push things quicker.
These things affect accuracy and sometimes in a big way.

Quit making excuses...
no one else around here gets that consideration. Why should burrows. Get with program and start throwing the ball accurately or give it to someone else who can.

I know you're a Brennan fan.
You're overplaying your hand here.

Maybe but the day of reckoning is coming.

Some of you need to calm down.

I believe he's implying that Brennan is going to challenge for the QB job which is great if he's improved to the point he gives Burrow a legit challenge. Competition is a good thing.

Not unless he puts on 25-30lbs
You would have died had he taken a hit like JB in the Bowl game.

I mean... 180 WRs survive.
Like you can’t be afraid to play the best player because he might get hurt on a cheap shot.
I dont Think 25-30 pounds protects your brain either.

And to that point, it seemed disturbing to me that coach E has a $25,000 bonus for limiting offensive turnovers. There needs to be a certain level of calculated risk in a aggressive passing game.

No doubt. Also, any QB that comes back from a hit like that and performs the way Burrow did deserves mad respect.

Additional muscle, specifically neck and shoulder muscles like the traps and SCM will provide more stability and lessen the whiplash effect so it actually does help.

Nope, that’s made up science

This thread and who started it shouldn't be a surprise to anyone. This guy signed up on Tigerdroppings right after Burrow decided to come to LSU and he's spent damn near the entire time polishing Joe's knob and belittling the rest of the offensive players, particularly the receivers, for the sole intent to make Burrow look like he played better than he actually did.

It's the same thing with the "we had more kickers than linebackers on scholarship" quote the people love to throw around.
I love seeing that one used. It's one of my absolute favorites.

wait, I was told by the Negas that players were not to be attacked and all the issues were scheme related. Why they turning on Burrow?

Got you down as buying-in to the CFB Film Room baloney "statistics"... random volunteers in their mom's basements pumping out nonsense numbers. And making up their own rules on how to log stats. Too damn funny!!
You're not really that naive about clickbait websites. You can't be.

There's published research available and training programs specific towards prevention. There's always additional factors but neck strength is one.
Neck Strength: A protective factor for concussions
quote:
After adjusting for gender and sport, overall neck strength remained a significant predictor of concussion (p = 0.004). For every one pound increase in neck strength, odds of concussion decreased by 5 % (OR = 0.95, 95 % CI 0.92-0.98). We conclude that identifying differences in overall neck strength may be useful in developing a screening tool to determine which high school athletes are at higher risk of concussion. Once identified, these athletes could be targeted for concussion prevention programs.

Unlike yourself, I can see that there were more than one issue

A quick look at the numbers show it's bogus. Only a fool would believe any QB had 25% drop rate.
