Haleigh doesn’t get enough mentions on the board.

Haleigh is one of the GOAT female athletes in LSU history. Up there with Seimone, IMO. Once she wins the AAI & Honda award after the season, it’ll cement that. I know they can’t “retire her jersey” but I’d love to see a banner or something acknowledging her accomplishments.

Agreed. Bugs and Sarah Finnegan also won the award in 2017 and 2019 so all three should have some acknowledgement of this accomplishment.

She's one of the GOAT LSU athletes in general, not just female. She is like 2019 Joe Burrow right now (just need LSU to win the Championship now), I've never seen a gymnast perform like her. Sarah Finnegan was incredible in her last year but Haleigh is just on another level.

For sure, that'd be awesome.

That's nice to see. Kiya had a much better comeback season that I was expecting. Pretty crazy that she came back better than before.

KJ is me and Mrs. Iwys favorite so it's nice to see her getting some recognition, she has always been a little under appreciated.

Konnor is probably the next Haleigh if she stays in school and doesn't leave to focus on the Olympics/elite gymnastics. Not sure if she's even considering that but she has to be, she is that good.

Kind of surprised that Cowan is in there I'm not going to lie.

I think the selections were based solely on the SEC championship meet, and Cowan (bars) and KJ (floor) both finished first in an event. Haleigh should have won gymnast of the year no matter the criteria!

Yep, you're right...

The All-SEC Team is comprised of the student-athletes with the top two scores (including ties) on each event and in the All-Around competition in the first session and second sessions of the SEC Championship.

The All-Freshman Team is comprised of the freshmen student-athlete with the top score (including ties) on each event in the first session of the SEC Championship and the freshman student-athlete with the top score (including ties) on each event in the second session of the Championship. The All-Freshman Team also includes the freshmen student-athletes with the top two all-around scores (including ties) in each session of the Championship.

30+ gymnast got all-sec honors That's a bit much.

She said she’s trying for Paris. But yes, Konnor has the potential to be the best ever at LSU.

Gnat & Finnegan were great but I just think Haleigh is on another level. I think I saw a stat that she’s only scored below a 9.90 once this season. That’s insane.

Haleigh Bryant is by far the most entertaining gymnast I’ve watched over the past couple years, other than Livvy but that’s for totally different reasons . Bryant is so talented and just damn near perfect at what she does.
