I really hope Gilbert and and Hilliard come back soon. This pitching staff as is, has no bridge from starter to Peterson. Beck and Fontenot are unreliable. They were last year and are starting that way this year.
They have their moments, but you see beck’s weakness. He can strike you out on 3 pitches and can’t find the plate on the next batter. Plus, he gives up wild pitches and steals like they’re candy. There’s just no consistency with either of those guys.
