Just heard this guy on the radio for the first time and he said Beckwith is not a Kevin Minter yet. Also said WR was a position he was worried about. 
Has anyone read or heard this guy before and is he always this dumb?

Beckwith is really good, but I think you're selling Minter short. That guy was a beast for LSU. He was the only person to show up a few years ago when we got dominated in the Swamp (he had 20 tackles; 17 solo), 1st team all american, and team MVP. Now he gets significant playing time for one of the best defenses in the NFL.

Wel, Beckwith isn't Minter yet.
And we are all hoping that Dural comes back from injury strong.

Lazare is a very knowledgeable guy. His understanding of the game is much deeper than most.

Beck and minter are two different types of players. Beck can play de also, plus when minter plated the defense waa stack

Why is it so hard for people to accept that Kevin Minter had the one of, if not the, greatest season for an LSU mlb. Beckwith hasn't had a season nearly as productive as Minter's 2012.
Kevin Minter had 55 solo 75 assisting 130 (!) total tackles 15.0 TFL (4.0 sacks) netting -52 yards, 1 interception.
That being said, KB's junior season was more productive than Minter's sophomore season. Beckwith will need to increase his tackles and TFLs to get on Minter's level. He can do it, but he hasn't yet.

Beck is very talented but he did regress last season dunno if it was the scheme or his weight or what but he did. The wrs did look impressive but I guess he was referring to a few drops during the game which plagued us last year

I'm not a football guru, but last yr the scheme lsu had didn't fit our defense, I feel alot of our team regressed on defense not just beck.

He is Mike Scarborough's wet boy. That should tell you something. See Skike has set up Rivals to be Negatiger central and all things contrarian as far as LSU. He provides a mouthpiece for the 30% of the fan base that is intellectually challenged or have insecurity issues. Or, those who dreamed they were born Alabama fans. I quit Rivals a long time a go.
Bryan is just a negative SOB. Ignore him. And I have a pretty good idea for the attitude and agenda Rivals for LSU's Athletics and I will leave it at that. It is sad really how one main website has such an attitude of the very own program it covers!!!!

Knowledgable yes. That is why he should know better that the two are different type of players and it is not even playing field to compare the two. Beckwith is more than fine to fill the job he has.

Not to mention he is the worst baseball official scorer in the world. Can't stand him for that reason, mostly.

canwood ! I looked you up because I was amazed at your good sense , something we don't see enough of on this site ! Great coaches build and maintain programs like LSU ,Coach Miles recruits players and coaches well enough to be what he is a great coach !
