Time for Jarrett Lee to step up

What it would mean though, is that he won't be playing the next couple of games
This. as usual, with the retards out in force, it's going to be whether he's guilty, not guilty, etc.
I'm pretty sure getting arrested means good ole JJ isn't going to be the starting QB for awhile. I don't think you set a very good precedent by letting your starting QB, who's been booked, start football games for the rest of the year either imo.

Official press release:
The Baton Rouge Police Department says LSU players Jordan Jefferson and Josh Johns have been asked to turn themselves in to be charged with battery.
In a news release, police spokesman Don Stone says:
The Baton Rouge Police Department has secured arrest warrants for , JORDAN JEFFERSON and JOSHUA JOHNS for the felony charge of SECOND DEGREE BATTERY.
We have contacted their Attorney Nathan Fisher and LSU Coach Les Miles and requested that these two individuals turn themselves in. They are in the process of making those arrangements.

Just announced it on ESPN. The arrest warrants have been issued.

I'm guessing there's no way in hell they pursue this against the starting QB of the No. 4 ranked team a week before a game vs No. 3 without some damn strong evidence. There have been rumors of other video that haven't been made public.
It's time to get behind Lee. He is our starter now. I have little doubt that Jefferson will be either suspended indefinitely or kicked off the team altogether.

My brother on brpd just confirmed it as well. frick

This is just absurd, the BRPD has given nothing that would lead any common person that they have evidence which would result in any conviction. It is nearly as though they are arresting now to save face to put the burden of a PR nightmare on the DA so the DA looks bad when they have to drop the charges.

Good let another QB play. Jefferson only would have done what he has the last few years anyway. Mediocore play.

All this story is missing is a slow speed chase.

lol @ some of the sheep on here
What kind of asinine post is this? I haven't followed these threads much, but I should have guessed rantards would turn this into a competition on who believed the right rumors.

Miles kicked Kyle Anderson off the team for this exact same charge in April 2007.
