LSU had 20 broken plays out of 65 against FSU.Including immediate penetration by FSU and a disrupted play, QB pressured quickly resulting in running around unstructured and looking for receivers like sandlot football, ball snapped too high or low, play action blown up by penetration, offsides, sacks, and just plain sloppy execution a few times. Kelly is getting paid $10 m illion a year. He had one year to prepare for this game. He has a large staff, trainers, doctors, equipment people. He has no other responsibility than to be the head coach. We sure didn't get ten million worth Sunday night.Team looked like it was coached by a junior high staff.

COACHING Staff FAILED. COMPLETE Failures.
Team was NOT ready to play the game and NOT focused to start the 3rd Quarter.

Offense had no rhythm or structure. Just running sandlot plays. Looked like the 12 year old boys who play on the empty lot down the street from my house.

One year huh? That’s so strange considering he didn’t assume the head coaching role until after the bowl game

Just IMHO, but it is astonishing how LSU fans defend these coaches after their complete failure in Game 1. Rest of the country thinks our big bucks coaches looked like clowns too.
Kelly and his coaches may want to look in the mirror and "align" themselves to the task at hand.

This team was beaten like a bunch of yard dogs by KSU just 9 months ago. Everyone has forgotten how bad we were.

We had to get marginal players from inferior teams to even field a real squad. ASU, Arky, etc.....you dont play big boy SEC football with these type kids.

I was upset by the performance as I thought we could scratch a win out against FSU. Hopefully we get better to compete with the mid tier SEC schools. But we will be two more years to see if we climb back to the elite.

This board consistently reminds of how often I am ashamed to be associated as a fan with some of you.

Your analysis is almost as good as your math.

Describe for us viewers the first LSU possession of the game.

And include the unprepared part.

For mr Pub also.

Exactly. The sooner we realize this is a complete overhaul and rebuilding of the program, the better. I’m prepared for a 5 win season. I see us hopefully winning one SEC game. I hope they surprise me and win several but I’m keeping my expectations in check.

Here's the thing though. This staff has dedicated a shite load of their lives to coaching football. All have been pretty successful everywhere they've been.

What if, stay with me now, WHAT IF this is the best we can do? What if our OL is just this bad? What if we don't have a QB that can adjust protections? There were plays were you could see FSU overloading presnap and no one adjusted anything. Not the center. Not the QB. No one.

He uses big words and can put together sentences, that’s enough for the rant obviously.

There was a reason Daniels was going to be the starter no matter what, we dont have the line play to protect Brennan, period.

Daniels has got to have better pre snap reads it seems, but most of the sandlot play was out of necessity. We lack a dynamic RB to take the load off.

It's crazy that people are acting like this. LSU had 30-something available scholarship players for the bowl game 9 months ago. There is no combination of offensive units that have EVER taken a live snap in a game. New OL. New QB. New RBs. WR is the ONLY stable position and they rely on all of the other positions to be successful.

What I'm trying to say is settle the frick down.

It looked like a Les Miles team. Hopefully we're closer to a Nick Saban team come next year.

I want to add that even though Dellenger got MOST of the snaps to Daniels, I noticed that they were low, high, or slow on almost all snaps. That combined with what is not a good right side offensive line, didn’t give Daniels much of a chance. He was laboring and did a great job to not have more snap mishaps. That affects every part of the designed play.

You can thank that POS shrimp boat deckhand for his lack of effort post 2019 for the state our roster is in. frick him

They were structured. We were incapable of executing them, mostly due to line play. I am not sure what you want to see happen when we dont block our assignments.
